Antalya, Kas, Kekora, Simena, Olimpos, The Chimera
Turkey was our next destination where we landed in Antalya where we hopped on the first bus for the city of Kas. We heard that this was one of the better places for diving in Turkey so we tried it and it was fun. Though there was not a lot to see it was nice be underwater again. We stayed in a small hotel by the seaside and just a couple of minutes walk to the city where the food was good and the people were friendly. We did a day-trip by boat to Kekova & Simena.
After several days of diving and trying to improve our diving skills we took a short bus ride to the bus to Olimpos where we stayed at the famous tree houses. We did not really stay in the tree house the whole time but tried it! We had lazy days on the beach while having daily trips though the old ruins (only way to get to the beach HAHA) so lazy that the only wake up call was a cup of water in the face! The evenings were social as we all ate together, the days were hot but the later it got the colder it got and it did get cold. We did take the trip to Chimera where we walked a half hour up the mountain with torches until we found where the hill was on fire (they even cooked by these fires). Even when you put the fire out they would shortly start again without help. We later took the bus back to Antalya for the night before we headed home.
